The Year of Herbs
The Year of Herbs is a 12 month program, conducted January through December, for those who desire an in-depth herbal program. This program offers a unique opportunity to totally immerse yourself in the world of wild plants and herbs. By the end of the program you will be able to identify and know how to use well over 36 different herbs.

This is a beginning level program which assumes the student has had little or no formal study of herbs, and will give you the foundation you need as a budding herbalist or home medicine maker.

This program is held on the second or third Sunday of each month. This months class will be October 11th, from 2pm to 5pm. Class is held at The Magic Candle, 204 S. Audubon Road. The cost is $25.00 each month. Seating is limited to 15 so get your name on the list to assure your seat, call to see if seats are left and what we will be working on.

One thing to note, is that each class covers a complete, yet separate topic on herbs and that it is not necessary to attend all classes if a particular aspect interests you more than another. Whether you sign up for each class or come only to the ones you decide to participate, you will not feel lost in the subject.
